• of my taiwan trip day 1

  it started all the way back in Jan where i am still busying  with the opening. need a break! need a break! and where i should go? where? where? thinking n thinking. the shortest trip i can plan and a place where i havent been before will be Taiwan! i always love traveling to places during winter and so, nov is the best time i am looking at.

  booked the tickets, hotel and off we go. it all started bk on 2nd Nov. getting ready for the trip. our flight is super early in the morning. and we worked the day before so we are really shacked on the day itself.
  

  brought along my DSLR along. and i am all ready for my trip ~ scarf, DSLR, jacket and hunhun

  after torturing on the air for 4++ hrs, we finally reach the airport.
  
  they use beagle to check for drugs in the luggage haha..so cute right? and look at the cellphone reception that states Taiwan da ge da ( taiwan big boss hp?) haha

  bought bus tickets to the nearest metro station and from there we headed down to bei tou which is near our hotel ~ city spring hot spring hotel
   

  by the time we reach there, we are a bunch of hungry hippos…
  

  we decided to settle down for ah sang food

  our first meal in taiwan
  

  my fav lu rou fan, i can eat this everyday! and i did haha. the food is yummy! no matter which place u go, taiwan always have the yummy food! and is cheap too! a bowl of lu rou fan costs 40NT( most ex i had) and the cheapest is 20NT??? less than 1 SGD!

  after that, we took the shuttle bus to the hotel and this is the hotel bathroom. it has a bath tub that draws the hot spring water from the hot spring up to your room! amazing right?
  

  after settling down, heading down to taiwan 101
  

  ok. taiwan 101 is all about branded stuff. u see high end goods. so if u wan to buy high end stuff, 101 is the place for u. but for me, food is what i m here for haha….

  after “shopping” in 101 ( i din manage to buy anything), we headed down to the famous night market ~ xi meng ding. btw, the night is very long in taiwan now. at 6pm, it is almost as dark as 8pm in singapore. haha.

  oh, i saw this man with alot of retrievers where the retriever will carry a bucket using his muzzle and beg for donations haha
  

  @ xi meng ding, u see food every where. even 7-eleven, they sell yummy tea eggs..drool
  
  

  our dinner @ ximeng ding is all about street food…haha. some of the die die must eat ! oyster omelette, chicken cutlet , oyster mee sua..etc

       

  after some street food, we settle for some “serious” one haha..joking..
  

  we are so full after that and we headed bk to hotel to rest n enjoy the hot spring in the hotel room haha
